Happy Memorial Day

We are grateful to all the men and women who have given their lives for us to be able to live our lives today.

Classic Penny

So today we were playing on the floor and I decided I needed some more picture. Cuz Penny just looked so cute today and we got a bow in the hair without a headband! Progress is being made on the hair growth, finally!!

Anyway when I was taking the pictures she wouldn't smile at all and when I would put the camera down it was smiles all around. So after I loaded the pix on the computer I thought that these were just classic Penny pictures. She is such a laid back girl, just an observer. Happy to sit and watch, happy to sit and play with toys or play in front of the mirror. And everytime I am behind the camera she just watches to see whats going to happen. So I swear she does smile and laugh and show emotion.

I Love Plastic

Who needs to buy toys when you can play with the free Walmart bags.
P.S. Penny's leg barely fit in the bumbo, when you pick her up the chair comes with her.

5 Months

Stats: 19lbs 2oz, 27 inches long.

She is chunky and still the center of attention. Penny is offically a sitter. One day I put her down and she could sit! She loves being able to see everything that is going on.

She is an expert help with the laundry.

And she is now loves the computer, especially when her dad is playing a video game. All the colors and action are her favorite.

Arizona Trip April 2010

We had SO MUCH FUN in Arizona that we didn't want to leave!! Penny finally met everyone and loved every minute of the attention. We love you all and can't wait for our next visit.

Penny hanging out with Papa. Papa would always give her water bottles and now she loves them.

But her most favorite next to eating...was sitting on the swing. Blake introduced her to video games. Then they had fun laughing at each other. And watched cartoons. She also remembered Grammy.
She really loves baths now cuz she got introduced to the "big" tub. She is now an expert splasher.

Papa got Penny in trouble cuz she wasn't suppose to touch the wedding dress.

We went out to eat a lot!! There are so many good places that we don't have here.

We went to a couple of track meets. Penny loved being outside and seeing all the people and events.

We met cousins and friends.

Penny became crazy sleeper.

We went swimming and Penny didn't even cry. The water was a little chilly but she liked it.
And the rest of the time Penny just looked so dang cute!

Penny was an excellent flyer. She did great on the way there and back!

P.S. we know we saw more cousins and friends but I am lame and didn't take pictures then!! My camera just needs to be taped to my wrist at all times!!

Penny's Blessing

While we were in Arizona we were able to bless Penny. It was wonderful and we thank all who were able to come. We are grateful for your love and support.

The day started out a little rough. It was around nap time and Penny knew something was going on, so she didn't want to nap but she was oh so tired.

She started to settle down and started getting ready to see everyone.She looked so stinkin pretty in her dress that her Grandma made. Stoney did a fabulous job. He really loves this little girl. It was a wonderful blessing.
Stoney's mom or Grandma was able to fly out and be here for the special day. (She made Penny's dress)Grammy was so happy.

We had a great day.
