Cereal....Anyone?

There was a grocery store in town was having a cereal drive and they had cereal for $1 each. Stoney and I agree that was a great price! He told me I should go and stock up! I think I listened pretty well. I got up at 4:30 am in order to be at the sale by opening which was 5am!! I got 74 boxes. I don't think we will be running out of cereal anytime soon! If anyone would like to come over and have breakfast, just give me a call, we would love to have you!!

Penny loves animals!!

1st Day of Nursery

So Penny's 1st day of nursery didn't go as well as I thought it would. She went just fine, didn't even look back at the door. Then after about 30 mins she got bumped and it was downhill from there. She was so sensetive after that. I tried to take her back but she wouldn't let me leave here side. I stayed with her and she just stood right next to me. I think she was just tired, cuz she fell asleep soon after we got home. Her sleep schedule is now back to our time zone. We are saying prayers that Penny will be brave and make it through next week and she has to cuz I have to teach and Stoney is working. Needless to say she was much much much happier when we got home!!

Great Way to Start Summer

We had a great time in Arizona at the beginning of summer. We did so much stuff and Penny really grew up. She is a full blown toddler and her vocabulary is really coming through. She understands so much and is starting to copy everything you do!! She is so fun and cute and full of energy. We spent a lot of time with family and friends and we loved every minute of it.
We got to go quading and Penny had a ball. It was her first time but she wasn't scared one bit. She screamed with joy during the rides and tried to climb back on after the ride was over.

She had so much fun on this day, even the bumpy rode didn't wake her up.

We got to see and pretty waterfall.
I had the hardest 10 min hike of my life in order to see these ruins.
Then I went on an easier hike with Penny.
The creek was freezing but she didn't care.
We also had lots of fun with friends. I am realizing now that I didn't get very many pictures with our friends, I guess we were just having too much fun.

And again I guess I suck at capturing the moment cuz this is the only picture Penny got with her cousin, even though she has many more!! I guess its ok cuz they are the only girls.

The rest are just Penny being silly and sweet and just having a good time.

She was so excited that she finally figured out how to ride the scooter.

We spent a lot of time doing water activities. And she looks so darn cute in her swimsuit. I wish my rolls and chubbiness was as cute as hers!!

She became the youngest fan of Jabba!!

She learned the pillows and cushions can be taken of the couch and then jumped on!

She also learned how to put on makeup!

And she is by far my cutest child!!

Graduation 2011

One of the reasons for going to AZ was for graduation. Yes my younger brother is now graduated from high school!! It was a little strange sitting there thinking I graduated 8 years ago (wow) and now Blake, the last sibling, is sitting on the field. Penny is so stinkin cute and did a really good job during the ceremony.

This was her for about 20 mins and then the batteries gave out!!

We are glad that we got to be there for Blake and to see this big milestone in his life!!

Phoenix Zoo

We managed to make it to the zoo during our trip and we couldn't have picked a better day. The weather was mild and the sun was behind the clouds. I have now realized I like going to the zoo. We went with our friends, the Youngs, we had so much fun!!
The girls are good friends already. There were moments of "she wont stop touching me" or screams and dirty looks. But over all they like to be together!!

Penny wasn't to sure about the goats at first but then she got the hang of petting and brushing.

Penny had a blast and crashed before we were even out of the parking lot. We will definately be going back to the zoo on our next visit!!
