Santa Visit

Our first Santa visit was at our ward Christmas party. Penny was so excited and was in tears that we had to wait in line. She just wanted to see him so bad. Finally she made it to the front and didn't even hesitate. She went right up and sat on his lap. It was so cute, she was so happy to be with him.
Our second experience was at the mall and it was totally the opposite. She saw a Toy Story clip before we got in line and wanted to watch that instead. She was in tears when it was our turn and would not let go of me. So I too got to sit with Santa.

I love her face cuz it is saying I am so over this.

Penny 2nd Birthday

Penny had a great birthday. She got lots of Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuff. She is so great and loved. She talks all the time and really knows a lot. She likes to watch tv, read books, help in the kitchen, play outside. She still loves her blanket and pooh bear. She can sing a bunch of songs by herself and can count from 1 to 12. We are still working on ABC's but she is a fast learner. She is getting good at dressing and undressing herself, not all by herself yet, but that is real close. She loves nursery and is always excited to go, even when we go to the chuch building during the week. She know a lot of family and friends by name and picture. She is getting really good at saying prayer. She is so wonderful and we are really glad she gets to be in our family.

Thanksgiving 2011

This year for our Thanksgiving week we went to an indoor water and theme park. We went with Stoney's side of the family. It is part of the Wisonsin Dells and we had so much fun!!! The theme park had rides and arcade games. Penny loved the rides and we did each one several times.

I think she liked the swings best. The merry-go-round was the 2nd favorite and Penny always rode on either the elephant or lion.
There was also this really cool playground. We all had a lot of fun crawling and sliding through it.

We ate at some really good restaurants. This one was called moosejaw and their pizza and home made root beer was delicious.

Penny was in a really good mood the 2nd day and was quite a character for the camera.

She clearly loved to ride the ferris wheel and again was being a huge camera ham.

Stoney climbed the rock wall in 1min 27seconds.

The ropes course was really cool. You get harnessed in and then do balancing obstacles 20 and 30 feet in the air.

We had a blast at the indoor waterpark. And since it has a lot of water we didn't take any pictures!! I was nervous the camera would get wet or taken. But the slides and pools and everythings else was so awesome!!

Again the playground was a lot of fun!

Penny wanted to ride this airplane the whole time we were there, but she was just a little to short. The lady running it was so nice and let her go since there wasn't any crowds. Penny was smiling ear to ear the whole ride.

We passed this monkey everytime we went to the elevator and Penny always said hello and goodbye, she was so friendly.

Again the ropes course was a lot of fun.

We had so fun much and will plan to go back again.

After our resort stay was over we hit the outlet mall and our christmas shopping was started. Stoney scored some adidas shoes for $7!!

This mouse was in front of a cheese shop and Penny loved it.

We had an awesome trip and survive the drive home!!
