Since the weather was so lovely and we have been wanting to try forever. Chad didn't have school and Mom didn't have work. We decided to venture on a hiking trip. Well more like a walking trip, just up a hill and into a hole/cave in the rock. It wasn't very hard but it was fun and a good way to spend the morning.
The babies were strapped in backpacks and Penny was so excited.
Ava had a great time in the backpack, she loved being close to me and patting me on the shoulders.
Jane spent the morning riding backwards and smiling at the stragglers.
We made it to the hole/cave and enjoyed the view of the valley.
Whitney wore her awesome pants!! I have some too, but I'm not quite brave enough to wear them in public, I'm almost ready.
Penny found a comfy spot to relax, she called it her nest.
She then started to explore and found new hiding spots.
I love love love my girls!!
We started to explore and walk around the rest of the park.
Penny had so much fun. She discovered a little house.
Chad found the edge of the world.
We found a pyramid. It is the burial place of an Arizona Governor, his wife and some other family members.

We finished our walking and stopped for lunch. It was nice and relaxing until the geese got very brave and started to invade our space. If you didn't know Whitney is terrified of birds and she freaked out which also made Jane freak out. Penny and Chad were excited to see what they would do and tried to chase them away. But alas, we lost and the geese started to get too pushy. But it was so hilarious watching Whitney get panicky.
