Easter Pictures March 2013

Since we have church at 8:30am and when we get home it's crazy getting lunch and ready for naps. Pictures for Easter Sunday might not have worked out the way I wanted. So I took the girls down to the temple the week before Easter for a photo shoot. Whitney and Jane came along and needless to say we did a lot of yelling and noise making and took a lot of pictures and after we were done Whit and I needed some caffeine. But the girls had a good time outdoors and enjoying the nice sunny day. I love the girls dresses and Penny thinks it's so fun to be matching matching.

Penny had fun in her dress spinning and dancing and being a princess.

Penny picked this spot and posed all by herself.

Ava wasn't so sure about the grass. She kept her arms up and wouldn't touch it. I don't know why because the temple grass is so soft and cool.

Penny singing her Rapunzel song, "Just feel the grass, the dirt, just like I dreamed they'd be."
"and I'd go run and racing and....."

They are sweet girls and really good friends. They are so pretty and I love love love them.

Penny's 1st Haircut

Well I finally took Penny to get her haircut. Ok it was more like a trim, I just couldn't get too much cut off, I wasn't ready. It has taken 3 years just to get it this long. So at this rate maybe by 4 or 5 she will be ready for a haircut!
She was so excited and kept asking is it time for my haircut, good thing I only told her the day before. She did so good and sat still and got a pink and purple cape, she was talkative and friendly and was a really good client. She got all her frizzy end cut off and got a little bit of layers cut to spread out her curls.

Ava 10 Months

Ava  you are a happy, playful, sweet baby. You have learned how to clap and wave hello and goodbye. You have realized that you are strong enough to roll over when laying down and now do it more frequently. You still don't try to crawl but army scoot for a very short distant while crying, then someone will come and save you. You constantly get your way because you just have that cute little face nobody can resist. You try to get others to laugh at you and then have a really fun time keeping their attention. You can keep yourself entertained for a while, just discovering the house or playing with toys. Your hair had started to grow and we can stick a little bit up with water and hairspray. You still love to eat and now grunt at someone when they are not sharing with you. You have started to enjoy more solid foods, like bananas, peas, ramen, potatoes. You finally have 2 teeth, your 2 front bottoms popped through!! You got a little fever and runny nose the night before they popped but that was all the trouble. You have started to do funny things with your tongue, like bite it or stick it in and out like a snake. You have discovered the art of splashing in the bath and we now have to have extra towels on the floor. You are ticklish everywhere and have to cutest baby laugh ever. You are very observant and always like to see who is talking or singing or what is making noise. You have started to get stranger danger and new people make you nervous. You are very quite around them or clingy or just start to cry. You notice tiny little strings or paper on the floor and try to get it. You have noticed my tiny earrings and try to pull them. Your bed has finally been lowered, Grammy caught you standing in the bassinet after a nap. Now you are always standing up when I get you out of bed. I love you my sweet Ava girl. You are always happy and always put a smile of any ones face. Penny is your best friend and you always follow her and try to be around her. You are smart and beautiful and bring happiness into my life.
